Michael, I was saddened to hear about your stroke, but happy to hear about the recovery you are bringing about. If you have heard that a full recovery is improbable bear in mind that it is improbable because it is possible. Margie, we haven’t met, but I look forward to meeting you at the AHS reunion. Michael wanted me to respond to the email regarding the reunion. He would love to attend but unfortunately you all are going to have to put up with me also! He is not at the point where he can travel alone.

Michael is still making progress but however, no speech so far. His cognitive skills and reading ability have returned . It is a long journey but he is continuing to make progress. He is very upbeat and working hard on his recovery.

His weird sense of humor still exists and as always, he finds humor in(what he thinks) are the stupid things I do. He must have death wish!

Anyhow, he is now able to read the posts on this website and at some point in the not too distant future, I think he will be able to respond personally.

Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to him.

So sorry to hear of your stroke, but am very encouraged by news of your recovery. Hard to believe so many years have passed since ‘65. Curious that I was just thinking of you the other day, just before getting the word about you thru the “Class of 65 Turns 65″ grapevine. Would love to see you make enough progress to join the fun. Either way all our hearts, best wishes and prayers are with you.

(AHS were good days, huh?) BATS get together every several years and most of them are going bald! Wow, I haven’t changed, what’s their story? Ha. I wish you the speediest recovery.
